Luigi Dragoni’s artistic path covers and condenses the reference to a place where the constant development of the nature of things evolves. The crowd of marks, like architectural lines concentrating in the space perceived, gives back the distinctive value of «construction», the idea of a building coming from history,  which flows into History ; the ‘place’ is the one of his personal history – low Lombardy, where Dragoni was born and lives ; the ‘form’ tends to an Absolute of values expressing its deepest spirit and converting it into a collective experience,  shared History. Abstraction pours into Dragoni’s poetic vision, it introduces the force of his artistic belief, carries signs, heaps colors, lists ideas, sensations, memories, and ends up into a vision of a future that glues  together both past and present. Horizons of earth, water and sky convey the values of a transforming reality, following the rhythm of time, offering visual combinations; a net of matters and sensations where changing forms are displayed: immersions into both  memory and present. Nature becomes a whole world, a reality fading away in gazing and remembering, thus it is transferred and refreshed through a shared artistic experience. Abstraction is the tangible force of becoming, the shape of  Time represented in the work of art.

Marks and landscapes are the places where to recognize the creative identity through the scattered signs of colors and structures, like a map drafted now and again, through the talk between gaze and word, questioning the elements of nature and reality. It is  in the things, the truth of earth, sky, air and water, in  transformations.
